3S-GTE Gen 5 Quick Reference Chart

Every 3S-GTE Gen 5 exploded diagram you need on one chart, with the torque value printed right next to each nut and bolt. Dozens of hours went into vectorizing and cleaning up the diagrams, pulling torque specs from multiple factory repair manuals (BGBs), some of them not in English, and in a few cases measuring breakaway torque with a digital torque wrench.

Putting your engine back together should be the fun part. Stop digging through the BGB or waiting on a forum reply for a torque value.

Did you know the middle oil pan uses 5 different sizes and types of fasteners, each meant for a specific spot? Or that the timing covers use 4 different bolt lengths? Neither did I.

Disclaimer: this chart is a quick reference and assumes you have the knowledge and experience to assemble an engine. If something doesn't seem right, stop and double-check. Don't torque a 10 mm bolt to 70 ft-lb because someone made a typo in the directions.
